The Heart and Soul

Our poultry handling crews are the heart and soul of our company. Without the hard working individuals on our crews we would not be able to provide a top level service to our customers. Managing both crew and the trucking on our jobs gives us the ability to ensure that our customers’ livestock is handled with care during the entire move. By controlling both of these aspects of a job our scheduling team is able to schedule efficient jobs well out into the future for our customers.

Animal welfare

All of our crew personnel are trained regularly in proper handling and care of live poultry utilizing the United Egg Producer’s training guidelines. Our crews also transport cooling fans to the job site during the warmer months so that we can provide airflow to the chickens while they are being loaded and unloaded. This is a vital step on hot summer days.

biosecurity

We understand the importance of biosecurity for our customers. We handle chickens from many producers and locations every day and that is why biosecurity is on the forefront of every decision we make. Our crew-members wear clean and laundered clothing every day that is washed on site so that we can insure the quality of the process. Crews are also well trained and monitored for compliance with all of our biosecurity practices.
